GRSE Apprentice 2017 Online Registration Open from 7th December 2017 and close on 27th December 2017. The Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), Kolkata invites Online applications for engagement of Trade Apprentices, Graduate Apprentices and Technician Apprentices for filling up 261 Vacancies in various disciplines for the year 2018-19 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 as amended from time to time andRules thereof.
Age Limit: (Age relaxation as per rules)
(a) For Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) -> Minimum - 14 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or before 01.01.2004), Maximum - 25 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or after 01.01.1993.
(b) For Trade Apprentice (Fresher) -> Minimum - 14 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or before 01.01.2004), Maximum - 20 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or after 01.01.1998).
(c) For Graduate Apprentice -> Minimum - 14 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or before 01.01.2004), Maximum - 26 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or after 01.01.1992).
(d) For Technician Apprentice -> Minimum - 14 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or before 01.01.2004) Maximum - 26 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (Candidates born on or after 01.01.1992) (Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates).
Essential Qualification:
Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI) -> Applicant should have passed All India Trade Test (AITT) for Craftsmen Training Scheme and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India in the respective trades.
Trade Apprentice (Fresher) -> Applicant should have passed Class 10th standard (Matric) / Madhyamik or equivalent examination from recognized Central / State Board.
Graduate Apprentice -> Applicant should have a Degree in Engineering or Technology (BE / B.Tech) granted by a Statutory University or by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament in the respective subject fields.
Technician Apprentice -> Applicant should have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government / by University in the respective subject fields.
Selection Process: Based on Merit List. Merit List based on marks scored in the Qualifying Examination in each trade / discipline or educational qualification. Details check out official notice.
