Government of India, Ministry of Defence, ASC Units of 71 Sub Area/HQ Northern Command invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of various Group 'C' posts in ASC Units. Eligible candidates apply within 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement notice in Employment News paper dated 02-08 March 2019 Issue.

Qualification and Experience:

Civilian Motor Driver –>	(a) Matriculation or equivalent. (b) Well versed with driving and maint of heavy vehicles. (c) Must possess the authorised civil driving license for heavy vehicle. (d) 02 years experience on driving such vehicles after issue of heavy vehicle driving license.
Vehicle Mechanic –>	(a) 10th Standard / Matric pass or equivalent. (b) (b) One year experience of trade work (Capable of carrying out repairs of heavy vehicles).
Cleaner –>	(a) 10th Standard pass or equivalent. (b) Should be proficient in trade work (Proficient in daily maint of heavy vehicles).
Camp Driver –>	(a) 10th Standard pass or equivalent. (b) Should be proficient in trade work (Well versed with guard/ sentry duties).
Safaiwala –>	(a) Matriculation or equivalent. (b) Conversant with duties of the trade (Proficient in daily maint & cleaning of offices/buildings/toilets and campus). (c) One year's experience in the trade work.
Fireman –>	(a) 10th Standard pass or equivalent. (b) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipment's fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. (c) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump. (d) Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fire fighting different types of fire. (e) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of fire crew. (f) Must have served in a recognised Civil or Defence Fire Brigades as Fireman Grade II for a minimum period of three years.
Labour –>	(a) 10th Standard pass or equivalent. (b) Should be proficient in trade work (Well versed with labour duties).

Selection Process: Written Test, Medical Fitness Test, Document Verification.

Eligible candidates can submit their application in the prescribed format. Completed application along with self attested photo-copies of documents and photograph reach to ASC Units of 71 Sub Area/HQ Northern Command through Registered / Speed / Ordinary Post.  The Candidates will enclose a Self Addressed Envelope, affixing Postal Stamps of ₹ 25/- along with the application required for dispatch of Acknowledgement/ Admit Card. ( The candidates are required to super scribe on the top of envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “___________” ALONG WITH SELF & FATHER’s NAME. Acknowledgement/ Admit Card and Certificate from Attesting Authority to be typed on separate A4 size plain papers as per Appendix ‘B’. Application will not (WILL NOT) be entertained without Appendix ‘B’ or non receipt of separate envelope duly affixed with postal stamps of ₹ 25/- and after closing date i.e. 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement notice in Employment News and/or other Newspapers (i.e. Last date will be 22/03/2019).
